Orange opens an innovative social service dedicated to Cinema : Orange Cinébuzz.
Simple and well-designed, this new service monitors continuously the social buzz linked to movies in theatres, leveraging on Orange social component, Blended TV*: processing and filtering the Twitter flow, it makes the social noise understable by everyone, and detects in real-time trending movies.
Firstly, Orange Cinébuzz ranks movies by their number of related Tweets.
Then Orange Cinébuzz complements the buzz level by identifying key words mentioned by Twitters users, thus providing a glimpse of the movie atmosphere, and of the feeling of spectators.
With quantitative (buzz level) and qualitative (sentiment analysis), Internet users can select a movie in a flash, and then interact by joining the conversation and contributing to the social noise.
